Back to the basics ! October - November 2017

This is batch 2 of my figure drawing routine, done in October and November. 50 x A4 rendered pieces, about 500 quick poses and some studies of Torso/Pelvis perspective, Proko calls it Robo Bean. I highly suggest buying Proko resources and stock images and also his courses are fantastic.

A little feature

Happy new year and let's get back to work :)) This is a first batch of drawings, done for fun here in Hoston, Texas away from my workstation. The shift to tradtional media has been an amazing change, I learned so much, most important patience and the importance of having a strcutured logical approach, things we tend to go over and ignore while doing stuff digitally, being so easy to erase and/or undoo all the time. This post will also serve as an inspirational entry, would like to mention one of my biggest inspirations so far, MR PAUL RICHARDS, the one and only, author of WWW.AUTODESTRUCT.COM This guy is a beast, making the most amazing concepts i've seen, not only shining through design and idea, but the visual representation of his concepts is outstanding ... I can only hope to one day be half as good as a designer/concept artist as Mr. Paul Richards, and then I can go die happy :)) There are tons of other images on his website, I urge you to check all of them ou...

Next Gen Spider Queen Character.

Hey guys ! First and foremost I do apologise for the lack of updates on this blog, I promise things will change fast just right now I am caught between part time jobbing, university work (on MA project) and training (and dealing badly with some lower back injuries) and it`s just too much for now. I thank you all sincerely who visit my blog and come back to it from time to time and also biggest thanks for all the emails/questions/fb adds/compliments and so on I get. I am humbled beyond words ! Ok getting to the technical part ... Here is the final version of my MA Games Art character, produced at the University of Hertfordshire UK. The aim of this project was to produce a high quality next generation character, rendered within UDK using dx11 and all of it`s features. The final character count is around 110k triangles with legs and weapon.
